Do other artists feel as I do - the driving necessity - the crying need - the hounding desire that [will] never be satisfied - that knows no peace? I believe there was a time when I might have stopped myself, and days even weeks would have drifted by - but now there is not an hour. I breathe it in the air. I am saturated with it. Then Catherine what is your ultimate desire - to what do you so passionately aspire? To write books and stories and sketches and poems.
